Henry Lee photo shoot / growth over a year.
« on: March 23, 2012, 02:40:35 PM »
So - I don't remember if many of you know but November 2010 I started a thread about a kitten we rescued from outside. He was under our tree crying blood murder in the middle of a blizzard. We were sure he was going to die so we went hunting for him and found him. He had a mama we tried saving too but unfortunately was so wild she never let us catch her and after taking her baby she left. He was horribly under the weather, literally. Super thin and tiny. Just bones when we took him in. So we nursed him back with Goats Milk and some soft kitten food.

So anyway... Here he is!

The night we caught Henry Lee. Nothing like his feral mama.

Mr. Henry Lee now. Beautiful Boy.

He is about 1yr 5 months old. We wont go into his weight now, haha. It's so nice to have him in our family. He is a character.

He is gorgeous!  And you found a white kitty in the middle of a blizzard and didn't name him some variation of snow?  I'm impressed!  LOL

:yelcutelaugh: oooh my goodness. Nothing bugs me more then animals with candy/food/"item" names. I don't know why... I guess I am just really into "real" names - if that makes any sense. Even when I was a kid I could never stand for a name like "snow ball" or "fluffy" lol.

Also, most didn't believe he was as bad off as he was... we didn't even think so the night we got him in the house. Because he was so fluffy he looked just fine! But we took him in 3 days later to the vet and they told us how bad off he was and weighed him and the poor thing was just fluffy hair.

But now... no... his fluffy hair isn't his excuse, lol.

If you know what you're looking for, you can see it in that first photo, just how much his bones stick out...  You definitely saved his life!

Well, he definitely grew up nicely. He's beautiful
