Mika's Fundraiser



Mika, was struck down with what seemed to be HED two months ago. She has been getting around fine with the cage changes but soon a tumor popped up on her leg. With in 3 weeks it became larger then a golf ball and took over her entire leg, all that was left was a little foot sticking out the bottom. Today we decided to take the risk of removing it - so she could have a bit more ...time with us.

We took her in to the vet so he could see what he was up against first and the end results weren't good at all. What we thought to be HED was not - it instead is a massive spine tumor that has taken her entire spine and wrapped around through out her rib cage as well - also down into her tummy and legs. We decide removing the leg tumor would do no good - as the one causing all the actual troubles was the spinal tumor and it cannot be touched. So this fundraiser was to raise money for her surgery - but instead is to raise money to keep her comfy for the while she has left here with us ♥

These 8 sets are regularly $26.00 w/out shipping. They are at a great deal being only $25.00 AND that *includes* shipping within the USA! If you are out of country and would like to purchase don't run away yet - just message for a shipping quote and it can be done for a few dollars more :D The money earned from these 8 sets will go towards Mika's "hospice" care from her fatty food supplement to her hydration meds and pain meds when the time comes. She also has lost all bladder control so it will go for the much needed fleece that has to be changed daily sometimes 2x a day. The remaining, of course, goes into the vet card for anything further she may need in her comfy time.
