Seperating ferrets
« on: July 27, 2013, 01:07:04 PM »
I currently have 4 ferrets but need to rehome 2 of them. I found a home for them and they will be going to live with a friend of mine and his wife. My ferrets have been together for about 2 years and I want the separation to be as easy on them as possible. I was wondering if I should slowly separate them (I have a spare cage) or would they be ok if I just sent them to their new home. They aren't going to the new home until the beginning of September.

I have no clue how to take care of ferrets, lol, but I would day, just but the cages side by side, and let them still all play together when outside the cage. And then about 1-2 weeks before they have to go, move the cages apart. Idk tho. Haha. goodluck!
