Cabin fever and a lack of sunshine cause many of us in the Northeast to go through periods of sadness in the fall and winter months. To help you combat the seasonal depression and fatigue, MRR will highlight special critters every week and offer an exciting adoption fee reduction. This will not only help find homes for some of our special fur friends, it will also give you something to look forward to and a reason to smile when the temperatures dip and the snow flies.

If that wasn’t enough to boost your serotonin levels and get your adrenaline flowing we will also throw in a couple of flash promos on our MRR Adoption Counselor Facebook page when you least expect it! Ask for an invite now! <ahref="https://www.facebook.com/groups/904693099551901/">https://www.facebook.com/groups/904693099551901/</a>

This week's Vitamin D Special is this trio of beautiful black berkie sisters.  They are being fostered in Schenectady, NY.  Their foster dad travels quite a bit, so may be able to get these girls close to you.  Just ask!

They are active, healthy, and oh so very loveable.  They would fit into any home.

Read on about these delightful ratties!  Their adoption fees are waived.

#2015285N, "Piper", Rat, Black, Berkshire, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Female, DOB: 12/31/2013, Spayed/Neutered?: No
#2015286N, "Nymeria", Rat, Black, Berkshire, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Female, DOB: 12/31/2013, Spayed/Neutered?: No
#2015287N, "Zelda", Rat, Black, Berkshire, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Female, DOB: 12/31/2013, Spayed/Neutered?: No

Physical descriptions to tell them apart (if needed):
Piper - Only girl with almost no white socks on front feet
Nymeria - Has a white stripe from her tummy up to her chin and also has a tip on her tail
Zelda - No white stripe up chin

These petite little ladies are full of energy and love. They pretty much melt into your hands when you go to pick them up. I would trust them with anyone, whether experienced/confident handling rats or not. Their previous owner invested a lot of time into them.

Piper is definitely the most people oriented. She is the first to the front of the cage and loves to be cuddled and talked to. She reciprocates with plenty of kisses for her person. What a sweetheart!

Nymeria and Zelda are quite similar in personalities. They are both playful and love to climb all over their person. Nymeria in particular likes to go on adventures and explore during free time outside the cage. Zelda is a little more low key but still quite interested in everything going on around her. She seems more confident as well.

This trio is such a breeze and joy to care for. They will make an excellent addition to any family.
