Litter?
« on: February 23, 2016, 02:39:50 PM »
What do y'all use for litter? I picked up a bag of the Kaytee Critter Litter and I find it to be super dusty, which makes me nervous for my girls.

We were actually just discussing this on another thread:

The general consensus seems to be with EcoBedding or Fresh News.

I use fleece for the main part of the cage, but I use All Living Things brand Paper Bedding (sold by Petsmart) in their litter box and in my mice's tanks. Much less dusty than other brands Ive found.

Thanks so much guys. :3 The baking soda in Fresh News makes me wary. Maybe I'll try the All Living Things stuff before I resort to ordering online.
Kitsch, I also use fleece for most of the cage, but my older girl is pretty well litter trained. The stuff I got claims to be dust-free and safe, but that's definitely not the case.
