First time owning a patchwork rat.
« on: May 08, 2018, 02:15:34 PM »
I've never owned a patchwork or bald rat. I'm wondering if there's anything that has to be done different with them? Obviously watch drafts, but then they also cuddle up and have beds and blankets. So I doubt that's a real big issue at my house.

What are your thoughts?

Avoid anything that produces splinters, like shaved aspen bedding, or lint like most fabrics that shed. They have a problem getting things in their eyes.
